To honor the anniversary of the opening of the downtown Eugene Public Library we are having an artistic agon or competition this year with the theme “Celebrating Dionysos.”

We are accepting entries in four categories:
* Essays
* Fiction
* Visual arts
* Poetry
They must be submitted before January 1st, 2012 for consideration. After a period of voting by the readers of this blog prizes will be awarded on January 11th, 2012. The prizes consist of either a gift certificate to Amazon.com or an autographed copy of one of the Nysa Press titles.
